Kodomo-No-Kata - Unit 7
The 7th unit within the Kodomo No Kata demonstrates that a student understands the very basics of Judo, including introductory movements and breakfalls

Ukemi-Waza
| Ushiro-ukemi | ||
| Both Students lay on their back, tuck their chins, and then slap the mat, while tucking their chin, 2 times. | ||
| Both students then sit up, with their legs and arms extended and then do a break fall back, with their feet pointing straight up.
This is done twice. |

| Yoko-ukemi | ||
| Both Students then lay on their back, with their feet and hands pointed straight up, they will then do a breakfall to the right and left side. | ||
| Outen-ukemi | ||
| Students will then transition onto their hands and knees. Students do a side roll into a break fall. | ||
