Tachi-Waza
Tachi-Waza (立ち技) refers to the category of judo techniques that are performed from a standing position.
Tachi-Waza is not to be confused with Nage-Waza. Nage Waza refers specifically to throwing techniques, where as Tachi-Waza refers to all techniques that can be done from Standing.
